Egrets can often be seen in the creek area of Faversham - they are large birds, about the size of a grey heron and larger than Little Egrets. They have black feet and a yellow beak.
Faversham is a quaint market town in the north of Kent. It has its own creek that flows into the Swale estuary. You can walk in any direction from the town and see countryside, park and farmland, orchards or marshland leading to the estuary along both Faversham and Oare Creeks.
